Answer: The euryops is not winter hardy in your area so it requires no winter care unless you want to try to overwinter it indoors in a very sunny yet cool location -- preferably a cool greenhouse or conservatory -- although some people have success with it in their home. If you try this, take care not to overwater it because its growth will naturally slow due to the shorter days. It needs a winter rest, so a cool location at about 50 degrees is good. Water just enough to keep the soil from drying out completely, and do not fertilize during the winter. Trim it back hard in late winter to stimulate fresh new growth. When it begins to grow again in the spring resume watering and fertilizing and set it back outside as soon as possible. This may mean setting it out during the day and bringing it indoors at night until reliably in the 50's. Good luck with your plant.
