HOW FAR APART SHOULD I PLANT MY WICHITA BLUE JUNIPER TREES. I BOUGHT 2 AND AM THINKING OF PLANTING 2 MORE, ALL IN A ROW. HOW FAR FROM THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD THEY BE. THE NURSERY WHERE I BOUGHT THEM SAID THEY DON'T ROOT OUT LIKE AN ELM TREE.

Wichita Blue Junipers mature at 10-15' high and 4-6' wide. If you want to create a barrier, plant them about 5' apart. The roots will venture out about as far as the plant is wide so keep them about 5' away from the septic drainfield and they shouldn't cause problems.
