The Q&A Archives: Coral Bells

Question: Can you trim back coral bells?

Answer: You can prune off the spent leaves during the summer months or you can cut the entire plant down to almost ground level in the early spring. Be careful not to damage the center or crown of the plant when you prune - this is where new leaves will emerge.
