Do you ever need to trim/prune the Suzanne Fringe Flower? Is it normal for it to have more green foliage than reddish? |
Loropetalum chinense 'Suzanne', or Suzanne Fringe Flower, has a combination of green and red tinged foliage. Generally there will be more reddish leaves than green, but it is normal to have both. The best time to prune is immediately after flowering. If you prune too early or too late in the season, you'll be cutting off the flower buds and you won't have the lovely flower display. |
