The Q&A Archives: Mimosa tree seed

Question: I would like to know how to grow a Mimosa tree seed?

Answer: The seeds in the pod of a mimosa can be planted and they will grow into new little trees. Allow the pods to ripen on the trees. When they begin to twist and split, you can harvest the seeds and plant them either in the ground or in plastic pots. Plant the seeds only half an inch deep and they will sprout in a few weeks. Best wishes with your new mimosa trees!
