I just got a vine/bush that has leaves that look like sage and it has little buds that appear pink, but it blooms purple, sort of looks like
a pansy bloom. It is about 4 ft tall. I was told it is tropical. Do you know what this might be? It was brought from a florida greenhouse co.

That sounds lovely! Unfortunately, based on your description, I am not able to tell you what it is. You might try taking a photo of the overall plant and maybe a bloom to your local nursery and see if they can identify it for you. It might actually be one of the many less hardy sages, but that is just a wild guess. I'm sorry I can't be more specific.
