Concerns about Sudden Oak Death when buying an Oak Tree - Knowledgebase Question

I am a homeowner in the middle of a major landscaping project. I purchase from Shortys Nursery regularly. Some of these purchases are Monrovia plants. I am happy with the quality of your products and find your website useful to plan different parts of my project ahead of time.
I recently approached Shortys to purchase or order a Southern Live Oak tree (Quercus Virginiana) because your website helped me identify the specimen as ideal for the current site I am preparing. I was disappointed to hear that ANY oak tree would not be available because of sudden oak death. However, your website indicates that 2 of your 3 nurseries have this disease under control and plants are available with USDA certification. Therefore, these are my questions:

Is it possible to purchase a Quercus Virginiana tree from your nursery (via my local retailers) at this time? If so, is it possible to visit your nursery to choose the exact tree I would like to purchase before it is shipped to my local retailer?

I thank you in advance for your reply and look forward to your responses.

Dayton, Oregon Nursery Holds USDA Compliance Agreement
Monrovia?s Dayton, Oregon nursery continues to test negative on all samples, including soil and water, for Phytophthora ramorum. A USDA Compliance Agreement was issued to the Dayton nursery location last year and all shipments of host and associated host plants out of this location will have accompanying paperwork stamped with Compliance Agreement number OR#100672. This Oregon Nursery provides plants to retailers throughout Oregon and Washington so you should be able to purchase the live oak you desire. While it isn't always possible to tour the Oregon Nursery, you can phone ahead and make a request. Nursery retailers in your local area can order a live oak for you.
