I was planning on planting a few Wisteria vines on one side of my property that is always in the shade. Do you think they can survive?

Chinese wisteria will grow in full to partial sun, but not in full shade. It simply won't flower for you. How about planting the shade-loving Trachelospermum jasminoides (Confederate Jasmine or Star Jasmine)? This is a very fragrant evergreen climber producing clusters of 1" white flowers in mid-summer. Dark green glossy foliage adorns this twining climber.
