| Sharon, Either is fine in your location. If you plant in the fall just mulch the base well and it will be okay. When spring comes feed it regularly with light doses of a high nitrogen fertilizer such as ammonium sulfate (21-0-0). Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
