Mandevilla can be kept over the winter months in a semi-dormant stage. Allow the soil to dry slightly, cut the vines back to 3-4 inches and keep the plant in a cool location (basement or garage) where temperatures remain about 50F. Water sparingly; just enough to keep the rootmass from drying out. In the spring, when the weather warms, move your plant into a brighter location and begin watering regularly. Then take it back outdoors in late spring. Enjoy!
