I am interested in purchasing some of your new Princess Alstroemeria plants, specifically the smaller varieties for patios and pots.
1. Are they available now.
2. I cannot find them at my local retailers.
3. Can I order on-line, if so from whom?
4. I live in Del Mar (CA 92014) about 12 blocks from the beach, when and for how long can I anticipate these alstroemeria to flower for.

Thank you......Sarah

The Princess Alstroemeria's are not yet widely available so keep checking with your local nurseries. I suspect they'll be in stock early next spring. In your growing region you can expect Alstroemeria's to bloom in the late spring and if you pull rather than cut the spent flowering stem, a new stem will develop in mid-summer. The flowers themselves last about 7-10 days. So, with proper care, you can have sporadic bloom for 6-8 weeks from your Alstromeria's.
