The Q&A Archives: arborvitae with white splotches

Question: can you tell me the common and scientific name of the arborvitae that has whitish splotches on it?

Answer: in a quick search I have found two, there are probably more because there are so many different arborvitaes in commerce. There is a Thuja occidentalis "Wansdyke Silver" splashed with white variegation; and T. occidentalis "Sherwood Frost" apparently looks snow dusted. I hope this helps.
