We have a small flag stone patio area which we would like to plant something that would not need cutting. So grass is out. I have done some research and would like to know where I can find wooly thyme or elfin thyme?

Wooly thyme is an excellent choice, as is Pratia (Blue Star Creeper). Both take full sun, both flower seasonally, and both are practically maintenance free. Monrovia does not carry these perennials, but you should be able to find them in any well stocked nursery or garden center (Lowe's or Home Depot). Best wishes with your garden!
