How do I prune overgrown Cotoneater Acutifolia? They are much too tall for the area thy are in.

This shrub matures at a height of 5 to 7 feet, so it you may not be able to keep it as short as you need if it is simply way too large for where it is planted. The time to prune is late winter, before it begins to grow for the season.
