Hi, Can Kanjiro survive in a pot and by regular pruning to limit its growth? Thanks, Ken |
Kanjiro, or Jackfruit, is adapted to humid tropical and near-tropical climates. Mature trees have survived temperatures of about 27? F in southern Florida, but these were frozen to large limbs. Young trees are likely to be killed at temperatures below 32? F. You can prune to limit size, but you'll want to grow it indoors or in a greenhouse during the winter months in Seattle. |
