I planted ten Fire and Ice Camelia's last December. All seem to be doing well with the exception of one. It has lost most of the elaves on it but, has numerous buds remaining. I would like to save it if possible. I have pictures but your site does not seem to accept attachments. Burl |
Burl, Yes we are unable to receive photos unfortunately. The camellia is suffering from some type of root stress. Dry soil conditions, soggy wet soil, physical damage to the roots, or injury from some chemical applied to the plants are all possible causes of leaf drop. Maintain even moisture and if the initial damage was not too severe the plant should releaf soon and recover in time. There is no benefit in fertilizing it now. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
