Is the boxleaf euonymus and the Greenspire euonymus the same plant? I need a replacement for a 2 foot boxleaf I planted with 5 others several years ago. The only one I've been able to find says boxleaf on the tag but it's already 2-3 feet tall so I think it must mislabeled at the nursery.

Boxleaf Euonymus and Greenspire Euonymus are one in the same plant. There are genetic variations, though, so you may not be able to find an exact match. I would recommend choosing the smallest specimen you can find and pruning it to match your other plants.

Best wishes with your landscape!
