We want to grow peppers like the ones that are pickeled and can be bought in jars called 'pepperoncini'. Are there seeds or plants one can purchase? Have checked many catalogues and can find nothing.

I looked it up and there IS a variey of pepper (C.annuum, Conoides group) called "pepperoncini". It is an Italian favorite. Generally they are small, thin-fleshed peppers with a cone shape, borne upright on the plant.

You can order themfrom The Pepper Gal, PO Box 23006, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33307, ph# 954-537-5540.
