The Q&A Archives: Tranplanting plants

Question: Iwant to transplant the following flowers and wonder what is the best way and time to do this.

Chrysanthemums, and hydrangias. Excuse the spelling, not really sure it's correct. Aslo, can I take cuttings of these plants?

Answer: I would wait until early spring to do this. The chrysanthemums may also benefit from being divided at that time. You can take cuttings, yes. This is best done in early summer. Here are instructions on how to take cuttings, the procedure is similar for the mums as well.

You may need to cut and paste the url into your browser to make it work correctly.

Good luck with your project!
