I picked up some seed pods for the pink tree and was wondering how to plant them. My wife has her heart set on having one or two in our yard. What I did was tried two levels one 6 inches and some two inches with starter fertilizer. Please help me Thank-you Don Gray |
If the seeds have not been planted very long, dig the ones up that you planted 6 inches deep before they rot. Six inches is too deep and the little seedlings will run out of stored energy before the sprout can reach the surface of the soil. An inch or two is deep enough for these seeds. Keep the potting soil moist and warm (70F) and the seeds should sprout in 2-3 weeks. Best wishes with your new little seedlings! |
