I have a sandbox that is part of a child's swingset, constructed of wood. It has a mesh cover. I live in an area that gets snow. How do I winterize the sandbox? Can I leave the sand in it? Thanks!

Snow would not damage sand at all. As long as the wooden frame is sealed and the sandbox drains freely at the bottom, it should be fine in the weather also. You may want to remove any fallen leaves or other fall debris from the surface to help keep the sand clean.
