I am pretty new at gardening and just wondered if it is possible to plant ground cover in late October early November?

Thank you

You should be able to plant groundcover until about mid-November. After that the ground will be pretty cold and the roots may not establish themselves before winter weather arrives. Best wishes with your garden!
