I received a pink snowberry plant that is around 2 feet tall and clusters of berries on them and I have chickens and ducks. I needed to know if the berries or the plant itself is poisonios to them if they eat it ? Thanks , you were recommemnded by Thomsons in Marietta Ohio.

Symphoricarpos berries are eaten by wild birds and animals and the plants were used by native Americans medicinally so overall they would not be considered toxic. However, I am not able to find toxicity information specifically related to chickens or ducks. For this reason I would strongly suggest you also consult with your veterinarian for advice. I'm sorry I can't be more definite for you.
