Hello,

The Agapanthus x 'Monmid' is semi-deciduous in Zone 17, can you tell me how many leaves stay on in the winter, is it about half? I am trying to figure out if the plant will still look aesthetically pleasing duirng the winter. Also, is there another cultivar of Agapanthus from Monrovia that is dark blue but is evergreen in Zone 17.

Thank you,
Carmen

Evergreen agapanthus will retain about half of its foliage throughout the winter in your gardening zone. Since the plant will not completely disappear during the winter, I think it will remain attractive.

Agapanthus 'Storm Cloud' is a dark blue evergreen.
