| I have a queen palm in my front yard that a few months ago during a bad wind/rain storm a new frond that wasn't ready to open yet from the center of the tree died. it was just hanging down. adventually it just came out. since then it hasn't sprouted a new frond. the others are green and seem to fine. is my tree dying or does it just take awhile for new fronds to grow? |
| Stacey, It probably is just taking a little time. The only way the tree would be dead is if the growing bud in the top end of the trunk was somehow killed. I seriously doubt that this happened in the storm. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
