I'm afraid I can't find any information on a chocolate mimosa tree. However, Monrovia carries the new Ombrella Mimosa. The hot cherry-pink blossoms are brighter and more fragrant than the old mimosa tree. Exceptional umbrella form creates a broad flat-topped canopy of fern-like foliage. Perfect for filtered shade over lawns. Fast growth, tolerance of extreme heat, occasional drought and alkaline soil is ideal for the south and west. Deciduous. Full sun, part shade. Very fast growing to 35 feet tall and as wide.

Hope this information helps!
