What camellia is comparable to the Camellia Pink Bouquet plant. I am looking to create a hedge about 4-5 feet tall that would hide some deer fencing in my garden. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.

Liz,

I searched Monrovia's databases and while they did patent the Pink Bouquet variety I could not find it listed or described. They do offer two other pink types that may be of interest to you although they would be difficult to keep in the 4-5 feet tall range.

Camellia japonica 'Jordan's Pride Pink'
Spectacular, semi-double peony-form medium pink blooms. Midseason.
Moderate growing to 6 to 8 ft. tall and wide, larger with age.

Camellia japonica `Pink Parade`
Spectacular, clear pink blooms, peony to semi-double in form. Midseason.
Moderate growing to 6 to 8 ft. tall and wide, larger with age.

If you are not set on the pink color and are more interested in a shorter statured plant, please submit another question to the Q&A system to that effect and we'll be happy to assist.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
