shade growing hydranga - Knowledgebase Question

one side of our house has a great deal of shade and that is the side
we would like to plant some variety of hydranga, can you help?

Percy,

There are many great hydranges to choose from. If the shade is pretty bright at least for part of the day they should bloom well. I think I'd start with one of the Hydrangea macrophylla varieties.

Go to the following web site which will allow you to search for Monrovia plants by name, and type in "hydrangea macrophylla". You'll get a listing of varieties which you can select from for more info and in some cases a photo.
