| I have a Mandevilla vine growing in a container. It was left outside in cold weather and is now dropping its leaves.I've brought in inside, but what can I do to keep it alive for this spring and summer when I can move it back outside? |
| A Mandevilla is a tropical plant that makes a nice indoor plant, if you have the room. But with the potential to grow to 12 feet, its best grown in a greenhouse. Your plant has suffered a great deal of stress and may not recover. It's possible that the roots are still alive, though, so baby it along for several months and see if new stems begin to sprout. If nothing happens by this spring, toss it out and try again with a new plant. Mandevilla's benefit from being outdoors in the summertime, but should be brought back inside by early fall.
