I live in South Florida. As you probalby know, we just went through hurricane Wilma. I have several queen palms and more than 1/2 of them seem to have torn or damaged crowns. Is this fatal to the tree or is there something I can do to save them? Thank you.

Paul,

If the terminal bud in the top of the plant is dead the tree will not recover as it can't produce another bud. If you just lost some frond it will be set back a bit but should be fine.
