I have purchased a Warren Red Holly and recently learned that it may need a male tree in order to produce berries. Please advise if this is true and what and where I can obtain this tree/ Thanks, I have asked the nurseries in this area and they have no answers.

Randi,

Yes it is true but if there are any wild possumhaws in the area (which you probably do) there is probably sufficient pollen to keep your tree in berries. I am not aware of any male possumhaw hollies sold by Monrovia.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
