I RECENTLY PURCHASED A ALTA SOUTHERN MAGNOLIA TREE FROM A BENEFIT AUCTION I ATTENDED.COULD YOU HELP ME WITH WHEN TO PLANT THIS? SHOULD I KEEP IN HOUSE TILL SPRING? HOW OFTEN TO WATER IN HOUSE? I AM LOST.

Your Southern Magnolia should be planted in the ground as soon as possible. Fall is a great time to plant and transplant - that's when air temperatures are cool and rainfall abundant, both of which will help your new magnolia become established in its permanent home.
