Hello,

I live in zone 6. Every year I buy purple fountain grass for my frontyard flowerbed. This year I am going to try overwintering it so that I may have it to put outside again next year. Do you have any tips for me?

Thanks,
Stephanie

Thanks,
Stephanie

This grass is not easy to overwinter indoors in a container, but you can try. You will need to protect it from freezing yet keep it quite cool, provide bright light and good air circulation, and avoid overwatering it while keeping the soil just barely damp. Good luck with your experiment!
