| I am in zone 9 and looking to cover a fence that has mostly shade. Looking for a climbing vine that has other than white flowers, I already have the jasmine types and would like to add another type with color on leaves or flowers. | Glad you like the website. There are very few flowering vines that tolerate shade; jasmine is one that's reliable; evergreen honeysuckle prefers sun but grows okay in shade; Akieba and Virginia Creeper will grow in shade and provide colorful foliage. Wish there were more choices, but full shade limits your selections. Best wishes with your landscape! |
