I was just fortunate enough to buy a 15 gallon black bamboo, pot it, watered well and then the winds came. Now the leaves are all dried out. Will it come back okay?

Thank you...

The wind damage is permanent, but your bamboo will develop new leaves and eventually you can cut away the damaged foliage. Grasses are really susceptible to dessication during the hot dry windy season. If you know the Santa Ana winds are on their way, try to move your black bamboo into a protected place until the winds subside to avoid damage. Best wishes with your garden!
