How & When to Prune an Amethyst Falls American Wisteria - Knowledgebase Question

This past June I bought 2 Amethyst Falls American Wisteria and planted them in our backyard with full sunlight exposure. They both grew really well thru the summer however we did not see any flowering. It is now Mid-November and our Indian summer is over - about 30-degree's outside. Both wisteria's look

These are deciduous vines so they would normally discolor and drop their foliage in the fall. Late winter in your area would probably be some time in March or so, before the buds begin to swell and certainly before they begin to grow.
