The Q&A Archives: Saving Seeds

Question: What is the best way to store hot pepper seeds so I can plant them next year?

Answer: Heat, light, and moisture are the enemies of stored seeds. Make sure the seeds are really dry, then place them in an air-tight container and put them in a cool, dark place -- like a closet or garage. They should remain viable for at least two years.
