I am finishing a landscape plan for my home and need a name for the plant I want to include that many houses around me include in their landscape. The plant is green with a white stripe down the middle, almost looks like a hanging spider plant but this is smaller. Thank you for your time.

Stacey,

There are actually several by that name. Aztec grass is a liriope relative with similar markings. There are variegated forms of yucca and agave with similar markings.

I suggest you take a plant sample of photo to your local County Extension Office or a garden center to make sure and get a correct identification.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
