Do iris borers only attack iris that come from rhizomes or do they also attack those from bulbs, like my dutch irises?

Iris borer (Macronocutua onusta) is a pest on the rhizomatous iris (particularly the bearded border type, but may also bother Siberians for instance as well) but would not affect a bulb iris. Here is more information about them that you may find helpful if you have borers in your garden. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.
