I am not sure which variety of hibiscus you had. There are indeed many to choose from as you indicated. There are several weeping types of hibiscus. Monrovia carries many types of hibiscus. If you will go to the following web site which will allow you to search for Monrovia plants by name, and type in "hibiscus". You'll get a listing of varieties which you can select from for more info and in some cases a photo.
