We want to plant a tree in front of our apartment building on Carl Street in San Francisco. It will be located in a small batch (4-ft. square) of yard between the building and the sidewalk.

Liquidambar is one of the most popular street trees in the Bay Area. It has a neat, pyramidal appearance with evenly spaced branches and the foliage turns bright red, yellow and orange in the fall.
