Planting in West Virginia - Knowledgebase Question

Can you plant a Picea Pungen in January or February in Buffalo, WV. Also when is the best time to plant these trees. We are going to be planting aroung 100 of them.

The very best times to plant are spring and fall when the weather is cool and rainfall abundant, but you can generally plant trees and shrubs at anytime, as long as the ground isn't frozen. The main consideration for the health of your new trees is adequate water. Be sure to water deeply once each week if rainfall is less than that. Best wishes with your new trees!
