| What root stock do you use and have you used in the past for grafting Kwanzan Flowering Cherry Trees? I have a young Cherry tree which is likely a sucker from the rootstock of a Kwanzan which was grown by Monrovia and purchased about 7 years ago.The parent tree is 20 ft plus tall at this point. The offspring is definitely a cherry,gets nice Fall color but as of yet no blossoming. I'd like to know what it is. Thankyou for your help. |
| Gisela rootstock is the nursery standard for Kwanzan. This is probably what you're growing as a sucker or offshoot. Best wishes with your cherry trees! |
