What root stock do you use and have you used in the past for grafting Kwanzan Flowering Cherry Trees? I have a young Cherry tree which is likely a sucker from the rootstock of a Kwanzan which was grown by Monrovia and purchased about 7 years ago.The parent tree is 20 ft plus tall at this point. The offspring is definitely a cherry, gets nice Fall color but as of yet no blossoming. I'd like to know what it is. Thankyou for your help.

Gisela rootstock is the nursery standard for Kwanzan. This is probably what you're growing as a sucker or offshoot. Best wishes with your cherry trees!
