A narrow area between our fence & the windowless side of our home needs something evergreen that will not exceed 7 feet in height & fit nicely in the corner created by the red bricked exterior & the blur-gray shadow box fence. What do you suggest? |
There are a number of evergreens that would potentially fit there, however based on the information in your question I am not able to make a specific recommendation. The selection will depend in part on the height and width of the area, but also on the amount of sun and time of day there is sun in that spot, whether or not it is windy, if there is adequate air circulation in the corner, and also on the soil conditions. I would suggest you work with your local county extension and/or professionally trained nursery staff to analyze the growing conditions where you want to plant your shrub and identify plants that should thrive there and meet your size criteria, then select the one you like best from among those. Based on a more detailed understanding of the planting site and your overall design goals, they should be able to make specific suggestions for you. Enjoy your new plant! |
