Just cut back the plant to the edges of the container and then either put the entire pot in a greenhouse or garage or basement, or bury the pot in a protected area outdoors. I put mine next to the foundation of the house and cover them with straw. In thespring you'll see green buds on the remaining stems. Start watering it then and bring it into full light. Keep it protected from wind and strong sunlight and it will begin to grow again. Remember to pinch the new stems back early in the season so it will grow bushy before it begins to trail over the sides of the container.
