I have my Dwarf Spruce at my front door where it gets very bright light, but not direct sunlight. It is beginning to turn brown. Is this because it needs direct sunlight? Thank you, Tara

Dwarf Alberta Spruce grows best in full sunshine but will tolerate morning shade. It needs some direct sunlight each day or it will eventually become so stressed that it will be prone to insect and disease problems.

If you can move your tree out into sunshine at least part of the day, it should be happy. Wish I had better news for you!
