SOIL TO USE FOR RE-POTTING BIRD OF PARADISE PLANT - Knowledgebase Question

What type of soil should I use to re-pot my bird of paradise plant? I purchased it approx 4 months ago and it has 3 large plants in the container. The pot I purchased it in is approx 10

This plant does best when very crowded in the container so you probably do not need to repot it yet. Also, I would not recommend repotting in midwinter, nor just before it blooms as this can stress it. When you eventually do need to repot, use a soilmix that matches what it is already growing in as closely as possible. Enjoy your Bird of Paradise!
