Since we don't have a true dormant period in the Bay Area of California, when is it best to transplant Nile River iris as well as bearded iris?

You can transplant at any time without compromising the health of your plants. Do it now, or wait until late summer, after bloom is finished and you won't interrupt the bloom cycle of your irises.
