I just bought a ERICA Heath Evergreen in a pot. When is the best time to plant it in the ground? I live in Ohio and it's winter now. |
You can plant anytime the ground is not frozen. If there's snow on the ground, keep your heather in its nursery pot and set it in a protected flower bed (perhaps one underneath the eave of your house). In the spring, plant it in a sunny site with well draining soil. Best wishes with your new heather! |
