Would the ceanothus x 'Blue Sapphire' be good in Norco - zip 92860? We want it as ground cover on a large hill (for erosion control) and its vivid blue flowers. Some parts of the hill get full sun, other parts are under Jacaranda and fruit trees.

Thanks!

Blue Sapphire Ceanothus grows in full sun to part shade in either dry or moist soils. Your trees will provide afternoon shade, which will suit Ceanothus just fine.

Best wishes with your garden!
